The GS-105B v3 can adjust the power consumption automatically according to the number of active, connected network devices, and the cable length. This means that it consumes less power when less network devices are connected and active, or when the Ethernet cable is shorter.
Adjusting the power consumption
The GS-105B v3 intelligently adjusts the power consumption by detecting the connection status and the length of the connected Ethernet cable. If the GS-105B v2 no active data transmission automatically recognizes the device to the power saving mode to avoid energy waste.
Detection of cable length
